SLAY WEEK ATL - Episode 1

Linda Pearl Fils-Aime, also known as A Lady Named Pearl, is a recording artist and top model.

Pearl was born and raised in Miami, FL to parents that migrated from Haiti to the United States. Her music is an infusion of Afro-Caribbean hip hop and house, while blending empowering lyrics with beauty and style.

Pearl has appeared in national publications including JET and Ebony Magazines. She toured more than 160 cities with Ebony Fashion Fair as a runway model with proceeds benefiting underprivileged children's educational goals.

Pearl recently released her single "Slayin," an empowerment song geared towards motivated individuals to slay in life. The music video  features graduates from Pearl's school "A Lady Named Pearl Leadership Academy" where its mission is to shape the confidence of girls and women to become future leaders through modeling, leadership and entrepreneurship training. 

Some of Pearl’s influences include Lauryn Hill , Grace Jones, Rihanna, Fela, Andre 3000 and Emeline Michel.
