
Linda “Pearl” Fils-Aime, the founder of A Lady Named Pearl’s Modeling & Leadership Academy is an expert in teaching transformation, both in the world of modeling and in the world of next generation leadership preparedness. The modeling industry is often narrow-casted as just about physical appearance and presenting only the façade of the person. However, Linda Pearl Fils-Aime has discovered a new way to upend the old modeling industry to become a tool to help shape future global leaders of all sizes, gender, perspectives and mindsets.
Pearl began her professional career as a model walking the runways for Ebony Fashion Fair, touring the U.S., Canada and Caribbean. Shortly after touring with Ebony Fashion Fair, Pearl pursued her MBA at Clark Atlanta University. Pearl served as a real estate analyst for a Fortune 1 company from 2008 to 2011 In 2013, Pearl won the crown for “World’s Top Natural Hair Model” sponsored by Taliah Waajid. In 2014, Pearl founded Pearl School of Modeling in Atlanta, Georgia, where its mission is to shape the confidence of girls and young women to become future leaders through modeling, leadership, and entrepreneurship training. From 2011 to 2017, Pearl served as an adjunct professor at Clark Atlanta University teaching Leadership & Professional Development in the School of Business. In 2017, Pearl authored “Pearls of Wisdom for Teenage Girls”, a top leadership workbook for teens.

In 2012, Pearl released a full length album entitled “Transformation”.
In 2013, Pearl won the crown for World Top Natural Hair Model, and served as an ambassador for natural hair, and the face for international campaigns for Taliah Waajid Natural Hair Care products.
In 2014, Pearl was named one of “Atlanta’s Hottest Celebrities” by Creative Loafing. In 2015, Pearl released KINK, a natural hair docuseries produced by A Lady Named Pearl, LLC and created PEARL Magazine.
In 2016, Pearl was featured in the Atlanta Tribune Young Executives as “One To Watch”.
1n, 2017, Pearl was awarded the 'Unsung Heroine Award' by Saving Children and Families.
In 2018, Pearl was featured on TedX as the founder of Pearl School of Modeling, for its innovative platform to create models into leaders.
In 2019, Pearl School of Modeling received 'Best of Atlanta Award', by the Atlanta Award Program.
1n 2020, ALNP Foundation Inc received 'Most Influential/Positive Change Award' at Black Excellence Gala produced Pitch Black Weekend.
2010 to Current – Pearl has raised thousands of dollars for Haiti through her annual benefit entitled “Pearl Holiday Haiti Benefit.”

As a cultural developer and arts educator, Linda has founded and led the Pearl School of Modeling and the ALNP Leadership Academy, creating structured programs that merge artistic training with life skills, business literacy, and personal development. She has produced signature events including the A Lady Named Pearl Leadership Expo, Little Haiti Fashion Show, and multiple confidence-building runway productions that provide performance opportunities while fostering community engagement. Her work reflects a commitment to cultural preservation, youth mentorship, and innovative arts programming that connects creative expression with personal transformation.
Linda’s artistic career spans over two decades as a professional model, performer, and host. She has walked internationally, including touring with the historic Ebony Fashion Fair, and has appeared in major fashion showcases such as New York Fashion Week, Essence Festival, and the Trumpet Awards. Her media presence includes print campaigns, television appearances, film work, and music video performances. As a recording artist and performer, she has delivered live vocal and rap performances across the United States, Haiti, and international stages, integrating music with storytelling and cultural celebration.
In addition to her performance career, Linda is an accomplished author and speaker whose work focuses on confidence, identity, and leadership development. Her publications, including Pearls of Wisdom for Teenage Girls and Pearls of Wisdom for Women, have supported her national speaking engagements at universities, empowerment conferences, and youth leadership programs. Her TEDx talk on the transformative power of modeling schools highlights her advocacy for arts-based confidence building as a pathway to leadership.
Linda’s experience also includes producing digital media projects and educational content, such as documentary-style series and creative programming that amplify conversations around beauty, identity, and empowerment. Through partnerships, event production, and community initiatives, she continues to bridge fashion, performing arts, and education to create meaningful cultural impact.
