A Lady Named Pearl, also known as Linda Pearl Fils-Aime, is a professional model, entrepreneur, educator, and founder of A Lady Named Pearl Foundation Inc. The foundation’s mission is to build confidence in girls and women through modeling, leadership, and entrepreneurship training.
With a background as an Ebony Fashion Fair model and a business professor at Clark Atlanta University, Linda Pearl Fils-Aime created her foundation in 2015 to empower women and girls, particularly those from underrepresented communities.
Her organization has impacted over 1,600 girls globally, fostering leadership skills, confidence, and entrepreneurship. A Lady Named Pearl Foundation offers programs that help students develop business plans, refine their public speaking, and enhance their posture and presence through modeling. The academy's success includes the production of fashion shows, leadership expos, and business plan competitions.
The foundation, which started in Atlanta, has expanded its reach to other locations, including Miami, where it relaunched in 2024 after a temporary closure during COVID. Linda is known for her dedication to nurturing the next generation of female leaders and entrepreneurs, with her students having a 99% rate of increased confidence upon graduation.

In 2012, Pearl released a full length album entitled “Transformation”.
In 2013, Pearl won the crown for World Top Natural Hair Model, and served as an ambassador for natural hair, and the face for international campaigns for Taliah Waajid Natural Hair Care products.
In 2014, Pearl was named one of “Atlanta’s Hottest Celebrities” by Creative Loafing. In 2015, Pearl released KINK, a natural hair docuseries produced by A Lady Named Pearl, LLC and created PEARL Magazine.
In 2016, Pearl was featured in the Atlanta Tribune Young Executives as “One To Watch”.
1n, 2017, Pearl was awarded the 'Unsung Heroine Award' by Saving Children and Families.
In 2018, Pearl was featured on TedX as the founder of Pearl School of Modeling, for its innovative platform to create models into leaders.
In 2019, Pearl School of Modeling received 'Best of Atlanta Award', by the Atlanta Award Program.
1n 2020, ALNP Foundation Inc received 'Most Influential/Positive Change Award' at Black Excellence Gala produced Pitch Black Weekend.
2010 to Current – Pearl has raised thousands of dollars for Haiti through her annual benefit entitled “Pearl Holiday Haiti Benefit.”
Pearl is an amazing motivational speaker. She has a unique approach to building confidence in girls and women delivered through speaking and musical performance.
