Linda “Pearl” Fils-Aime, founder of A Lady Named Pearl, is an expert in transformation — both in the world of modeling and in preparing the next generation of leaders.

The modeling industry is often narrowly viewed as being only about physical appearance and presentation. However, Pearl has reimagined modeling as a powerful tool for leadership development — shaping future global leaders of all sizes, genders, perspectives, and mindsets.

Pearl is a seasoned fashion model, performing artist, author, speaker, and university professor.

She began her professional career as a model with Ebony Fashion Fair, walking major runways across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Shortly after touring with Ebony Fashion Fair, Pearl pursued her MBA at Clark Atlanta University. She went on to serve as a Real Estate Financial Analyst and Manager for a Fortune 1 company from 2008 to 2011, and later as an Adjunct Business School Professor at Clark Atlanta University, teaching Leadership and Professional Development from August 2011 to June 2017.

In 2014, Pearl opened the ALNP Leadership & Modeling Academy, and in 2015, she founded A Lady Named Pearl Foundation Inc., the nonprofit arm of the organization.

She is a featured TEDx Speaker and has received numerous awards for her impact in the community.
