On Sunday, December 1st, Pearl School of Modeling, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, celebrated its 5 year anniversary in downtown Atlanta, at Bio Bio The Beauty Place. Guests in attendance were Kasim Reed (59th Mayor of Atlanta), Trina Parks (1st African American Bond Woman), Terri J Vaughn (Director, Actress) and Rashan Ali (Host of Sister Circle).

Terri J Vaughn and Rashan Ali were honored with the ‘Pearl of Excellence’ Award in a celebration that highlighted students of Pearl School of Modeling in a fashion show featuring Atlanta designers Batu Collections, Geek Junky, Tutus N U, Bahel Wear, and Kulture Couture. Moreover, students presented entrepreneurship projects created at the school.

Heart felt testimonials were given throughout the event from parents and students on the impact the school served in their lives.

The event was hosted by Mo Quick, radio personality of Streetz 94.5FM, and Renee Knorr served as the Fashion Show commentator.
