BLACK FASHION MATTERS (VIRTUAL ONLINE FASHION SHOW)
About this Event
CELEBRATING BLACK FASHION DESIGN ENTREPRENEURS
ATLANTA, GA — Did you know that while black designers make up less than 5% of the fashion industry, 63 percent of black consumers say they like to buy fashion goods from luxury retailers?
A Lady Named Pearl (ALNP) Modeling & Leadership Academy, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to equip young women and girls to become future leaders through modeling, leadership, and entrepreneurship training, will put the spotlight on black fashion design entrepreneurs from various regions of the world, through their Black Fashion Matters virtual online fashion show.
In the midst of the pandemic, A Lady Named Pearl Modeling & Leadership Academy is training girls and women to pursue their passions. Not only are the students working the runway with confidence, they are building businesses and becoming entrepreneurs. The event will feature fashion from black designers as well as presentations from ALNP student entrepreneurs.
