Designer Highlight: Lola Miller Designs

Simply Sisters was founded in 2011 in Hilo, Hawaii ( Hilo is one of a chain of islands in Hawaii ). It began as a fun and enjoyable collaboration with Lola and her hula sisters (the hula is a traditional Hawaiian dance.)  Lola started off designing Hawaiian contemporary wear to go along with the jewelry. It eventually grew into a Hawaii Lifestyle brand and is now available at various pop-up shops throughout the Islands. Simply Sisters is named after Lola’s hula sisters from New Hope Hilo Dance ministry and she is inspired by their love.

Regina “Lola” Miller is influenced by the hula and the beauty of the Big Islands. She captures the spirit of the Island in all that she creates. The fabrics are hand-painted and sewn. No 2 hand-painted designs are the same. The clothing is made in Hilo, Honolulu or Bali.

Simply Sister Boutique’s flagship store in Hilo Hawaii is located at 961 Kilauea Ave.  ALOHA!!
